Returns

All sales of correctly-supplied products are final. We do not accept returns for change of mind, over-ordering or incorrect selection. Returns are accepted only where an item is faulty, was damaged in transit, or was supplied by us in error. General policy — last updated July 2026; applies to trade-account (B2B) orders.

Our return policy

Because these are industrial electrical products supplied to a specification you select and confirm, once an order is supplied correctly — the article numbers (MLFB) and quantities match your confirmed order — it is not returnable. We only accept goods back where the item was damaged in transit or arrived short, we supplied the wrong article, or the item is faulty (a genuine manufacturing defect covered by the Siemens warranty). All such cases are handled through a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA).

What we accept — and by when

  • Transit damage or shortage — note it on the carrier's paperwork where possible and report within 3 business days of delivery, with photos.
  • Wrong item supplied — report within 3 business days; we arrange collection and replacement at our cost.
  • Faulty / dead-on-arrival — handled under the Siemens manufacturer's warranty for the defined warranty period.

For an accepted return, goods should be in original condition and packaging with all accessories and documentation, identified by the order/invoice number and RMA number.

What we can't accept

  • Correctly-supplied items (change of mind, over-ordering, incorrect selection).
  • Special, non-stock or indent orders, and configured/cut-to-length/customised products.
  • Items installed, used, or removed from their original packaging (except where faulty).
  • Products discontinued by the manufacturer after purchase.

How to report — RMA process

  1. Email info@harrotsgroup.com with your order/invoice number, article numbers (MLFB), quantities, reason and photos.
  2. If it qualifies, we issue an RMA number and instructions — please don't ship before you receive it.
  3. Pack goods securely and mark the RMA number clearly.
  4. On receipt we inspect and, for faults, arrange manufacturer assessment where required.
  5. We confirm the outcome (replacement, credit or refund).

Resolution

For accepted cases (transit damage, our error, or a confirmed fault) you are not charged any handling or restocking fee, and reasonable return shipping is covered. Once accepted following inspection, we provide a replacement, a credit to your trade account, or a refund to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of inspection.

This is a general standard policy provided for guidance; specific arrangements may be set out in your trade-account agreement.
